Church Groups

Here at Blaby Congregational Church we hold groups outside of services to enhance and progress your Worship. Below is an overview of the Groups we offer for all ages

Prayer group

Due to Covid-19 this is currently happening online via Zoom. Contact the Pastor for more details or check the events page for date of next meeting.

The prayer group meets monthly (usually on the second Wednesday) for quiet reflection and prayer following a brief discussion on the issues and individuals that need our prayers.

Friday social

Due to Covid-19 we are not currently meeting. This is a monthly coffee and chat social group for the community to relax and unwind. One to one pastoral support is also available.

Bible study

Due to Covid-19 this is currently being held online via Zoom. Contact the Pastor for more details or view our events page for the date, the theme from August 2021 is the 12 disciples.

We meet monthly (usually the last Wednesday) for an informal study of the Bible, delving deeper into the meaning and message of the Bible than we do in our weekly services.

Friday night club

A fun, educational group for 4-11 year olds which meets during school terms only (once every half term) from 3.30 - 6pm. For just £2.50, activities include baking, craft, games and bible stories. Check out the events page for the next meeting date. These children also join us every summer for our annual Holiday Club.

Friday Lunch

We have resumed serving lunch but are taking all necessary measures to keep you safe while Covid-19 is still around. Once per month (usually the last Friday) we serve a reasonably priced lunch to bring the community together. We adapt the menu each time to suit the weather and time of year. Come and join us for friendship and a lovely meal without having to cook and wash-up yourself!
