Easter Message from the Pastor

Dear Friends and Neighbours.
You only have to look at the news to see how depressing the world that we live in is. We find people's lives ruined by war, hunger and loss of home.
At Christmas we celebrate the birth of a child who came into the world to bring us hope. At Easter that hope was finally fulfilled.
As Christians we believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He was born into our world to show us love, peace, joy and fulfilment. And then finally on Good Friday the greatest sacrifice of all, He died, with his arms outstretched, showing the people of the world just how much He loves them. His death has brought us forgiveness from every wrong thing we have ever done.
Then came Easter Sunday, the day on which Jesus rose, His resurrection changes everything, for along with forgiveness Jesus gives to us the gift of life. ‘Everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die’ and ‘I come to give you life in all its fullness’ said Jesus.
This Easter when all around us seems gloomy, let us live in the resurrection power and light of Jesus Christ. May your lives be fulfilled and may you find hope this Easter time.
